Intuition Over Advice

Integrity over Conformity

Helping You Move Into Deeper Integrity With Your Soul

There’s no instruction manual for living a more purpose-driven, fulfilling, and grounding life that reveres Mama Earth when we’re living inside a dumpster fire. But wayfinding is a powerful approach for navigating uncertainty and chaos from a place of grounded liberation, creativity, and joy.

Why I do this work

An Intuitive Approach to Navigating Life

Wayfinding is how we navigate both these batshit crazy times and our everyday lives without falling into despair, compromising our values, or ignoring the collective wellbeing (or Mama Earth).

Whether I’m guiding a sister circle or coaching a client, the objective always in some way circles back to this. To wayfinding.

Supporting Awakened Humans Through Circles & Wayfinding

The humans I work with 1:1 and in circle already reside at a higher level of consciousness.

They aren’t here to 'win' at capitalism but to flourish, in spite of it. To live in integrity with who they truly are. To not bypass oppressive structures like capitalism, supremacy, and patriarchy through self-blaming mindset work or “high vibes only” BS. To liberate righteous anger while staying rooted in fierce love. To live harmoniously with Mama Earth and her kin.

She Who Knows

We each carry an innate knowing that can guide us in literally every situation. In a nod to Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ work, I call this innate knowing She Who Knows, and you’ll be getting to know her well.

Soul Integrity

Bar none, the most important work we must do in this lifetime is to move into deeper integrity with who we truly are — with our souls. Everything we do when we wayfind circles back to this.

Deconditioning

In brief, capitalism conditions us to view our worth in terms of our productivity, while culture conditions us to conform to a number of toxic paradigms. Wayfinding helps de-condition us from these lies.

Who I Am Offline

Who I Am Offline

  • I cherish the early morning hour and fiercely protect both it and my solitude. I often start my day in darkness in silent meditation. I then light my lantern, steep some green tea, and journal until the sun rises.

  • As of spring 2026, I work at a nonprofit organization as a senior financial analyst. I blog, coach clients, and facilitate women’s circles outside of my day job. It sounds like a lot, but these outside endeavors energize me, and I truly love where I work. So while my plate is full, it’s in the best of ways. And, it’s why I only have the capacity to work with a very limited number of clients at any given time.

  • Being barefoot — seeing with my feet — whether I’m inside or (my favorite!) on a muddy, clay-packed trail.

Sitting in silent meditation. This is what got me through one of the most grueling dark nights of the soul imaginable.

Journaling by lantern light. Or just sitting in darkness.

  • I’m a barefoot, tree-hugging, Gen X hippie. I once sat in a tree slated for logging, got arrested for locking down in Senator McCain’s office on the 2000 New Hampshire primary election, and got run over by a motorcycle cop at the Battle of Seattle.

I’ve been invited into sacred sweat lodges in Minnesota and Arizona led by tribal community elders, smoked peace pipes and smudged in sacred ceremony, and joined the ex-wife of longtime political prisoner Leonard Peltier on a five-day spiritual fast during his failed 2000 clemency bid.

I’ve drunk from a bottle of cheap wine concealed in a paper bag while in the bucket of a 48—December wind whipping through my hair—while riding the rails in the PNW.

I’ve been a short-term editor at the EarthFirst! Journal, worked as a union spy, and—a decade later—was on the receiving end of recruitment attempts by the CIA. My adult life is filled with not-so-common experiences that have shaped who I am today.

  • I am both an economist (by education) AND a staunch anti-capitalist. My transition from being a mindless ‘cog in the machine’ to adopting strong anti-capitalist sentiments began in 1998, when I forayed into environmental activism.

In the nearly 30 years since, being an anti-capitalist hasn’t always been at the forefront of my mind. And yet even during its greatest periods of dormancy, the niggling knowing that capitalism is exploitative as hell, is rotten to its core, and runs contrary to human nature has remained.

Like many anti-capitalists, I frequently struggle to reconcile my values with the realities of living in a capitalist world. I do my best — it’s all I can do! — while forgiving myself for all of those times I do it imperfectly.

  • I do my best to live in deep integrity with my soul. I am very conscientious about where I spend my money and what I spend my money on. For starters, I avoid most animal products, plastics (to the extent possible), and fast fashion.

I got rid of my car in 2020 and rely on my feet, my bike, or public transit to get around…unless I’m out with my partner because he owns a vehicle.

I seek out ethically, sustainably, and organically produced food, skin care products, clothing, and other items. For the record, it drives me absolutely bonkers that regenerative organic oats are packaged in plastic. Seriously?!?! But I digress…

The gist is that I do my best to consider the impact of my choices on others and Mama Earth, but I am not dogmatic about it. I’d rather live by quiet example than ‘be right.’ Unless we’re talking about AI. Then I may share my opinions!
